On Saturday, July 8, 2023, several Perfection associates, and their families, provided and served breakfast to approximately 100 residents at the Bethany House in Cincinnati. Kimberly Witt, VP of People and Talent, and her husband, Eric, organized a fun jellyfish craft for the kids to create excitement for their family outing at the Newport Aquarium later in the day. A morning well spent serving our local communities, making new friends, and enjoying new experiences.

The Perfection Group Foundation donated $20,000 to the Bethany House earlier this year, and we were fortunate to be able to go and share our time and talents in person.

The Bethany House is a non-profit organization that provides care and comfort, community, support, encouragement, and inspiration for those needing a temporary place to rest and restore. To learn more about this organization and how you can get involved, you can visit the Bethany House Services website.

    Why we changed our look

We’ve always approached the idea of “perfection” as improving something until it’s just right, even if that means making big changes. The time came for us to make improvements to the look and feel of our brand while taking some time to define what makes Perfection Group unique in the marketplace.

On the surface, you’ll notice a few changes right off the bat. One is our new logo. Logos are often the first thing you notice about a company, so we knew it had to be the right one for us. Our new logo features a P and G for Perfection Group, as well as a degree symbol. This symbol represents the ‘perfect degree of comfort’ that we strive to bring to all of our customers.

Speaking of our new logo, you may notice it’s in new colors. We’ve updated those, too. We felt dark blue represented trust and loyalty while the gold represents nature and healing. We hope that both colors give the feeling of confidence, longevity, and commitment.

    pastedGraphic_1.png

The colors work well with our new details, called brand elements. We have a brand pattern and icons that are custom-made for Perfection Group. The icons each align with a specific purpose throughout our business.

We also took the time to dig a little deeper by examining who we are as a company and where we want to go in the future. The results are a series of brand statements that help us define Perfection Group’s values, purpose, vision, and mission going forward.

As a valued customer and partner, thank you for being a part of our journey. We’re excited to reveal a new degree of perfection.

The eagle has landed! We are honored to receive the Excellence in Construction Award by Ohio Valley Associated Builders and Contractors for our work on the Lawrence County Courthouse and Annex Renovation.

Perfection Group was chosen to be the provider of services to Lawrence County for a second phase energy conservation project to include upgrades to the Courthouse and Annex buildings in 2018, the first phase was done in 2010 consisting of a boiler plant, chiller plant and windows.

Certainly, the best reference a company can ask for is a repeat customer as is the case with Lawrence County Ohio. Perfection group did the initial energy project ten years ago and has maintained a service and support relationship since.

The 2018 phase two Project valued at $6,591,317 included: roof replacements, extensive masonry restoration and repairs, concrete replacement, parking lot repairs and repaving, ground drainage and total mechanical system upgrades. No small feat in any building but these were functional operating and quite busy buildings that would remain in service during the entire project duration.

Starting with multiple planning and review meetings, schedules and timetables were assembled from each trade with a roll up into one master project coordinated plan. From parking areas, storage, security, and some minimal occupant relocation, all things were reviewed and plans were implemented.
Perfection Group provided the leadership, coordination and expertise while acting as General Contractor and self-performing the Mechanical HVAC and Controls portions of the project.

As the spread of COVID-19 impacts our community and businesses, we want to keep our customers and associates informed and safe. Perfection Group will remain open and will continue to serve and support your facilities for regularly scheduled maintenance as well as service calls, projects and special requests.

We are asking all associates to follow precautions to ensure safety while on customer sites:

    – Follow customer facility guidelines and safety requirements including personal protective equipment.
    – Check in and out via phone or email to reduce interactions.
    – Practice social distancing and remain at least 6 feet away from other individuals.
    – Follow hand washing and sanitizing guidelines from the CDC.

Below are recommended maintenance procedures and products focused on delivering clean air that may help reduce the risk of spreading viruses and other bacteria. Note that Perfection Group cannot guarantee the prevention of COVID-19 with these maintenance procedures or products.

    Air Filtration
While new filters won’t stop the spread of infectious disease, dirty or ineffective filters can intensify underlying respiratory issues that make occupants more vulnerable to COVID-19. If you haven’t changed your filters recently, now is the time to do it. Additionally, increasing the Minimum Efficiency Rating Value (MERV) of your filters could be beneficial. The higher the rating, the more airborne particulates captured.

    Ensure Duct and Unit Cleanliness
Reducing dust particles and pollutants inside the duct and air handling units will reduce the risk of viruses and bacteria spreading through your facility. We are partnering with a third party who specializes in duct cleaning and unit sanitation practices.
    Increased the Air Purity

Air Purification products are designed to reduce odors, air pollutants, VOCs (chemical odors), smoke, bacteria and viruses. Units can be mounted onto air conditioning and heating system air duct systems where most sick building and IAQ (indoor air quality) problems start.

We are here to serve as a resource for you during this time of uncertainty. Please feel free to contact your representative for additional information on the above or if you need to request service.

    Stay safe and healthy!
