Features

The Courthouse built in 1916 had begun to show its age over the past few years. The exterior masonry was failing, paint was deteriorating, HVAC systems failing, and lighting was outdated. With the help of the Department for Local Government, the Anderson County Fiscal Court put out a bid for an RFP and partnered with Perfection Group, Inc. to address the aging facility.

The project covered upgrades to 4 facilities. Energy conservation measures that were incorporated consisted of the following:

  • Lighting retrofits and occupancy sensors
  • Installation of water source heat pumps, boilers and fluid cooler at Courthouse; other HVAC systems at outlier facilities
  • Courthouse masonry repairs
  • Courthouse exterior painting
