  • Perfection helps Lawrence County save money and earn Energy Star Rating for the County Courthouse

    Perfection Group performed an energy analysis and determined that Lawrence County had energy saving opportunities due to their aging buildings. Perfection concluded that a House Bill 295 project would be the best fit for the county to make energy savings upgrades enabling them to pay for the savings over a 15 year period.

    The list of building included: Courthouse, Health Department, Jail, Dog Shelter, Juvenile Center, County Court.

    Perfection installed new lighting in all buildings, retro commissioning of the air handlers and new automation controls at the Jail, Juvenile Center, Courthouse and County Court, new boiler and chiller and new double-paned windows at the County Courthouse, water conservation at the County Jail. The energy and operational savings are projected at over $78,490 per year.

    After 18 months in operation, Lawrence County earned their Energy Star Rating at the Courthouse.
